If so, Tabitha is your girl! She is 3 yrs old and weighs approx 135lbs. She is good with adults, children, and other dogs...but she is not fond of cats so a feline free home is necessary. Tabitha loves to be brushed, loves going for walks, and just in general is a GREAT girl -- SUPER FRIENDLY!

Tabitha was picked up as a stray, tested positive for Heartworms, and then her owner decided to surrender her to the shelter. She has now been transferred into Rehome A Dog so that we can give her the proper medical treatment that she deserves. Tabitha is receiving her Heartworm injection treatments on Feb 25 & 26th....she will then be on strict rest for 30 days. Following the 30 day period she is available to be adopted into a home, BUT the home will have to keep her relatively inactive for another 30 days...no offleash running or playing with kids or other dogs.

We are accepting applications on her now, but potential adopters need to realize that she will not be able to go to a new home until March 28th. Tabitha is spayed, and up to date on her general vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $200.00.
